About this Website
Having grown up in Japan, I have always been impressed with the diversity on such a small island.
It is my home. So when I had to make a website for my web publishing class,
if was only natural that the content should stem out of my own life-experience.
I hope that this website has communicated the beauty and diversity of Japanese scenery to you.
Unfortunately I had no collection of pictures from Japan to use in making this gallery,
but there are many more capable photographers on the internet,
who have very kindly made these wonderful images available to me for this project.

A List Apart has been an invaluable resources for this project.
After I learned basic HTML, it was this webzine that introduced me to XHTML/CSS
and taught me most of what I know about web design.
- The navigation list for this website was made using a technique demonstrated in
Taming Lists, an article from A List Apart.
- I'd like to thank
Drew McLellan
for freely distributing the script that enables PNG alpha-transparencies in IE 6.
- Thanks to Peter Nederlof for the
100% height hack.
